Nestled close to the serene Lake Eacham, Tourist Park & Cabins serves as a decent base for exploring the Tablelands. While I enjoyed the tranquility and beautiful surroundings, I found the yellow cabin we stayed in to be a bit worn out and in need of a refresh. It was clean, homely, and came with basic kitchen facilities, though I recommend bringing your own cookware, as the provided utensils weren't up to scratch. The amenities include free parking and reliable Wi-Fi in public areas, which certainly add to the convenience. The owners were genuinely helpful, making us feel welcomed from the get-go. My family appreciated the peaceful environment, with the lively sounds of local birdlife providing a nice backdrop to our stay. If you prioritize value over luxury, this place is a good fit. The rates are fair, particularly given the proximity to Lake Eacham and local attractions like Malanda Falls. For a charming escape that won't break the bank, Tourist Park & Cabins may just suit your needs, provided you manage expectations around comfort.
